I hope everyone has had a wonderful summer.  As for myself...I HATE HEAT!!  HATE IT!!  If I could, I would CRUSH IT TO DEATH!!!!  DIE HEAT!!!  DIE!!!    grrrr, huff, huff, snort, huff.

Um, ok, thanks for letting me get that off my chest.  *hee*  As you can tell, I'm not a summer person, so I'm am soooo happy that FALL is here!!!  (well, officially here, just not *actually* here)    But anyway - HAPPY MABON!!!   :)   

We've got KITTIES !  ANYONE WANT A KITTEN??  We've got 10!!!!  HELP!?  I love cats, I really do, but ACK!  

Have you noticed I'm all capital letters & bold face typing today?  Interesting.

I'm going to see about uploading some pics on here & check out what some of my fellow covenspacers are up to!!  Thanks to all you guys for keeping me on your friends list while I was non-blogging!  You rock!

Hey! I've been really busy w/ homeschool & BAD weather these days!! The weather thing is REALLY getting to me, the recent storms were quite scary. Many tornado warnings, lots of sirens, constant monitoring on the news. :(

Anyway, we found a dry moment to go on a field trip (I homeschool my son & a couple of his cousins are homeschooled as well). We went to what *use* to be Aquarena Springs, the kids loved the glass bottom boats & walking the boardwalk on the wetlands. We took a lot of pictures and saw lots of turtles. So now everyone wants a turtle!

A couple of weeks ago, we went to Padre Island & got sunburned like crazy. We took my mom, she's 79 years old and hasn't been to the beach since 1976!! She had fun & enjoyed watching the kids playing in the waves. We did the usual collecting shells, getting covered w/ sand, feeding the seagulls & came home completely exhausted...after spending a ton of time in souvenir shops, of course. :)

I uploaded some pics from our trip to the river, I'll probably add some from the beach as well. Since I haven't been on here for a while, I'm gonna do a little catching up w/ friends.

A few nights ago, I was outside sitting on my porch swing having some quiet time, relaxing with my headphones on.  It was dark, cool & a little windy.   I was just about to close my eyes when I saw a small white light (about the size of a 50cent piece) moving around about 3-4 inches above the floor. It was bright & glowing. My little dog saw it too and she jumped up and knocked it down to the floor with both paws.  The light was gone, but then something black & stretchy reached up from the point in the floor where the light went down, to the chair sitting opposite me. Once the black thing touched the chair, it disappeared. It all seemed to happen in slow motion and I wasn’t scared, or even shocked to have seen it.   Then I started thinking...did I just see a fairy?   What do you think?

I collect tarot decks more so than use/read them. I scanned in quite a few the other day and I'll be putting them up on here in little spurts, unless I get *crazy* and plop them all on here in one sitting. I've scanned 7 cards from each of the following decks: Celtic Dragon, Shapeshifter, Tarot of a Moon Garden, Irish Fairy, Inner Child, Faeries Oracle, Healing with the Angels, Magical Unicorns, Healing with the Fairies, and Magical Mermaids & Dolphins. BTW, I did these really fast & you can tell, some cards are a bit tilted. LOL. Oh well, you can see still the images just fine.

So, I created a Tarot Card Scans folder in my gallery and I uploaded 3 decks today. If there's a certain card from the decks that I have that you would like to see, let me know. I hope you all enjoy!

That’s why I haven’t been on here much. My nephew, RJ, had to go back to the hospital & stayed all week.  My niece, Kelli, is recovering from reconstructive surgery on her nose.  And my son has been having dentist visits that elicit MUCH anxiety from him & me!! Soooo, the short of it all is: RJ is home & OK, still having much difficulty controlling his blood sugars, but tomorrow is his appt. with his “main” diabetic doc, so hopefully something good will come of it; Kelli is OK and at home, she goes back on the 16th for the next part of her surgery (they cut out a chunk of her forehead, twisted it down & connected it to the tip of her nose – OUCH!!); and we’ve finally found a great pediatric dentist for my son, he even gets to watch his own DVDs while he’s there.

Now that things have settled down a bit, I'm going to do a little work on here and visit some blogs.  See ya!
